Ceramic Ornaments | Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians/Mob
  • Ceramic Ornaments | Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians/Mob

Acknowledging the traditional custodians of the land you reside on is a meaningful way to acknowledge Australia's shared history, reflect within your own family and spark conversations with guests. The Acknowledgement ornaments are Ally Friendly.

Wanting a standardised acknowledgement? Simply leave the info box blank and your ornament will say "In this home, we pay our respects to the traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and love.'

NOTE: Customers are responsible for providing correct place names, spelling and wording.

    IMPORTANT

    1. Due to the nature of printed to order items, there may be slight colour differences from what is displayed on your computer and other slight imperfections.
    2. Ornaments are one-sided.
    • Not sure of the traditional Country or custodians where you live?

The Aiatsis Map is a helpful resource to begin, I would also encourage you to reach out to local Aboriginal Elders and Indigenous community members from your area who may be willing to discuss this with you. Social Justice campaigns such as Place Names in Addresses are also helpful to follow to gain further understanding of traditional place names.

    STUDIO OPENING HOURS

The Little Black Duck studio is located in Uranquinty, NSW on Wiradjuri Country approximately 12 minutes from Wagga Wagga. Being a functional creative studio means it is not open to customers at all times. If you would like to arrange a time to visit the studio and shop the shelves, please get in touch via email at ash@littleblackduckaus.com.

I pay my respects to the traditional custodians of the land where Little Black Duck is based, the Wiradjuri nation. Their resilience and tenacity is an inspiration for all upcoming generations in leading the way.

    Always Was. Always Will Be.
