Christmas Bush Candle
Close your eyes and imagine yourself wandering through the Australian bush on a warm summer's day. As you meander along the winding trails, the scent of Christmas Bush fills the air, transporting you to a place of magic and wonder.
The Christmas Bush Candle pays homage to this iconic native Australian plant, with its distinctive characteristics and enchanting fragrance. Native to Australia, the Christmas Bush is known for its vibrant red berries and delicate white flowers, which bloom in abundance during the festive season, painting the landscape with hues of red and green.
Picture yourself standing amidst a grove of Christmas Bush trees, their branches adorned with clusters of crimson berries and fragrant blossoms. The air is filled with the fresh, invigorating aroma of fir needle and leafy green, reminiscent of a crisp, cool morning in the bush.
As you continue your journey, you come across a hidden glade where the scent of clove leaf and jasmine wafts through the air, adding a touch of warmth and spice to the landscape. It's like stumbling upon a secret garden, filled with the promise of adventure and discovery.
But it's the base notes of patchouli and eucalyptus that truly capture the essence of the Australian bush, grounding the fragrance in the earthy richness of the land. Like the sturdy roots of the Christmas Bush itself, these base notes provide a sense of stability and connection to the natural world.
So light up our Christmas Bush Candle and let its fragrance transport you to a place of wonder and delight. It's more than just a candle—it's a celebration of the unique beauty and resilience of the Australian landscape, and a tribute to the magic of the holiday season.

A great candle experience begins with proper candle care and maintenance. Here are some important burning tips for enjoying your Little Black Duck candle:
1. Preventing memory rings.
Believe it or not, candles have a memory and the very first time you burn your new candle is the most important. Ensure you burn your candle long enough to completely melt the entire top surface of your candle. If the wax is not allowed to liquefy or to melt from edge to edge of the container, it will create a “memory ring,”. Once a candle has this “memory ring,” it will continue to tunnel and to burn that way for the life of the candle. And no one wants that!
2. Trim your wick.
Before lighting, always trim the wick to 6mm and remove any wick debris as this encourages an even burn.
3. Be safe.
Always burn your candle on a heat resistant surface, keep it out of drafts and NEVER leave it unattended while lit. Always burn candles well away from other heat sources, and anything flammable. Make sure burning candles are out of reach of children and pets.
4. Goodbye is the hardest word.
KNOW WHEN TO SAY GOODBYE. When only 1/2" of wax remains, it's time to let your candle go. Discontinue use of a candle when ½” of wax remains at the bottom of the jar. This will prevent possible heat damage to the counter/surface or container itself. The glass can get hot on the bottom as the flame nears the base of the jar and most of the wax has been consumed. By following this instruction, the glass will not get too hot.
5. Know your limit.
Candles should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. It is recommended that after burning for four hours, candles be extinguished, allowed to cool for two hours, and trimmed before relighting.
As most candles are poured to order, allow a production time of minimum 1 week. This excludes delivery. Sometimes my shelves are fully stocked and i can grab and pack your candle a little more quickly, but to be safe, allow the 1 week minimum.
