Driftwood Candle
Step into a world where the scent of sea salt dances on the breeze and the rhythm of the waves whispers tales of adventure and discovery. Welcome to Driftwood—a candle inspired by the magic of the ocean and the treasures it bestows upon the shore.
Picture yourself strolling along a secluded beach, the sand warm beneath your feet and the sun casting golden rays across the horizon. As you wander, your gaze falls upon a weathered piece of driftwood, its rugged texture a testament to the journey it has endured.
As you approach, the fragrance of Driftwood envelops you like a warm embrace. Notes of mandarin and tangerine dance in the air, their citrusy sweetness mingling with the woody aroma of cedarwood. It's a scent that transports you to a place of serenity and solace, where time seems to stand still and the worries of the world melt away.
But it's not just the fragrance that captivates your senses—it's the story behind it. Each driftwood piece carries with it a tale of adventure, a reminder of the ever-changing tides and the endless possibilities that lie beyond the horizon.
As you light your Driftwood candle, you're transported back to that moment on the beach, where the sun kissed your skin and the salty air filled your lungs. The flickering flame casts shadows on the walls, casting a warm glow that soothes the soul and ignites the imagination.
So close your eyes, breathe in deeply, and let the fragrance of Driftwood whisk you away on a journey of exploration and wonder. It's more than just a candle—it's a story waiting to be told, an adventure waiting to unfold, and a memory waiting to be made.

A great candle experience begins with proper candle care and maintenance. Here are some important burning tips for enjoying your Little Black Duck candle:
1. Preventing memory rings.
Believe it or not, candles have a memory and the very first time you burn your new candle is the most important. Ensure you burn your candle long enough to completely melt the entire top surface of your candle. If the wax is not allowed to liquefy or to melt from edge to edge of the container, it will create a “memory ring,”. Once a candle has this “memory ring,” it will continue to tunnel and to burn that way for the life of the candle. And no one wants that!
2. Trim your wick.
Before lighting, always trim the wick to 6mm and remove any wick debris as this encourages an even burn.
3. Be safe.
Always burn your candle on a heat resistant surface, keep it out of drafts and NEVER leave it unattended while lit. Always burn candles well away from other heat sources, and anything flammable. Make sure burning candles are out of reach of children and pets.
4. Goodbye is the hardest word.
KNOW WHEN TO SAY GOODBYE. When only 1/2" of wax remains, it's time to let your candle go. Discontinue use of a candle when ½” of wax remains at the bottom of the jar. This will prevent possible heat damage to the counter/surface or container itself. The glass can get hot on the bottom as the flame nears the base of the jar and most of the wax has been consumed. By following this instruction, the glass will not get too hot.
5. Know your limit.
Candles should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. It is recommended that after burning for four hours, candles be extinguished, allowed to cool for two hours, and trimmed before relighting.
