Wild Mulberry Candle
Envisage yourself in the Australian bushland with our Wild Mulberry Candle, a fragrant tribute to the bountiful treasures of the land down under. Inspired by the vibrant hues and sweet aroma of wild mulberries, this candle is a celebration of nature's abundance.
At the top of this olfactory adventure, indulge your senses with the juicy sweetness of fresh strawberries, like plump berries freshly plucked from the vine. These top notes set the stage for the main event—the luscious scent of wild mulberry and sweet plum, evoking memories of sunny days spent foraging in the bush with friends and family.
But it's the base notes that truly elevate this fragrance to new heights of indulgence. Picture yourself gathered around the campfire, sharing stories and laughter, as the warm embrace of sweet vanilla and caramel envelops you like a cozy blanket. It's a moment of pure joy and connection, reminiscent of the timeless traditions and communal spirit of Aboriginal culture.
Aboriginal communities have a long history of using wild mulberries as a source of food and medicine. The berries are rich in antioxidants and vitamins, making them a valuable addition to traditional diets and herbal remedies. As you light our Wild Mulberry Candle, take a moment to honor the land and the people who have cherished its gifts for generations.

A great candle experience begins with proper candle care and maintenance. Here are some important burning tips for enjoying your Little Black Duck candle:
1. Preventing memory rings.
Believe it or not, candles have a memory and the very first time you burn your new candle is the most important. Ensure you burn your candle long enough to completely melt the entire top surface of your candle. If the wax is not allowed to liquefy or to melt from edge to edge of the container, it will create a “memory ring,”. Once a candle has this “memory ring,” it will continue to tunnel and to burn that way for the life of the candle. And no one wants that!
2. Trim your wick.
Before lighting, always trim the wick to 6mm and remove any wick debris as this encourages an even burn.
3. Be safe.
Always burn your candle on a heat resistant surface, keep it out of drafts and NEVER leave it unattended while lit. Always burn candles well away from other heat sources, and anything flammable. Make sure burning candles are out of reach of children and pets.
4. Goodbye is the hardest word.
KNOW WHEN TO SAY GOODBYE. When only 1/2" of wax remains, it's time to let your candle go. Discontinue use of a candle when ½” of wax remains at the bottom of the jar. This will prevent possible heat damage to the counter/surface or container itself. The glass can get hot on the bottom as the flame nears the base of the jar and most of the wax has been consumed. By following this instruction, the glass will not get too hot.
5. Know your limit.
Candles should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. It is recommended that after burning for four hours, candles be extinguished, allowed to cool for two hours, and trimmed before relighting.
As most candles are poured to order, allow a production time of minimum 1 week. This excludes delivery. Sometimes my shelves are fully stocked and i can grab and pack your candle a little more quickly, but to be safe, allow the 1 week minimum.
